Taylor was born and raised in Morganton NC, where she grew up with 2 brothers, mom, dad, and many fur babies. Taylor has been dancing since the age of 3. She was a student at Debbie Huffman Dance Academy, under the instruction of Debbie Huffman and Melody Poarch. While dancing at DHDA, she competed for 10 years winning many first-place and overall awards in solo and group dances. Taylor was an assistant dance instructor at the age of 13 and later taught dance classes for 3 years. While Taylor prefers lyrical, she also loves ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop. She enjoys learning and improving in all dance genres. Taylor started her professional dance career in The Asheville Christmas Show with Carolina Onstage, owned and directed by Mario and Lucinda Morin. Taylor also danced professionally at Carowinds in their Winterfest Show, as well as recently performing at Valleyfair in the cultural celebration Grand Carnivale. When not dancing, Taylor loves to sing. She sang with a praise band for 5 plus years. Taylor loves teaching dance and is overly proud when she watches her students perform. This is her 1st year with the Alabama Theatre, and she is excited to be a part of this wonderful family-fun show!
